Working as a domestic helper for nearly 10 years, Fredelyn Licuanan Galanta raised her 3 children in a healthy and educational environment.
She was a teacher in a Filipino private kindergarten. Despite her low salary, she decided to work as a domestic helper in Hong Kong when she was 35.
Raising her children, Galanta abandoned her dream of being a teacher. A decade later, her elder daughter graduated with an educational degree and is waiting for a board exam to be a teacher.
Galanta mentioned that an accomplishment of a university degree by her son would be her only dream.
